Nerissa J. Persaud is a Guyanese-Canadian Management Thinker, fellow Rotarian, Author and Motivational Speaker who has dedicated her professional life to improving how people live and work. Her life and work has spanned nations including Malaysia, Maldives, India, across Canada, the Turks and Caicos Islands and Mexico before making her home in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Her unique ability to bring people together, ease tensions, and find straightforward solutions to complex problems stems from her ability to ignite the core strengths 'spark' in those around her. She has successfully harnessed this skill for CEOs, General Managers, Vice Presidents, and even high school students in need of hope.With over a decade of experience, Ms. Persaud has been a pioneer in building relationships, spearheading talent acquisition strategies, and unlocking as well as aligning potential worldwide. As a member of the Global Business Collaboration for Better Workplace Mental Health, Nerissa is dedicated to transforming critical needs and assessments into actionable strategies that result in learning, re-skilling, and coaching opportunities.
In 2021, she played a crucial role in leading the research and development of 'The Five Global Principles to Creating and Sustaining Cultures of Health.' This initiative involved data efforts from prominent organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Google, USSA, and Buffer.
